  • Targeting: It helps you attract the right audience and clients who align with your expertise and offerings.
  • Brand Building: A well-crafted positioning statement reinforces your brand identity, values, and messaging, making you more memorable and recognizable.
  • Marketing and Promotion: It serves as a foundation for your marketing efforts, guiding your messaging, content creation, and promotional materials.

Process

  1. Start by identifying your areas of expertise. What topics are you knowledgeable about? What skills, experiences, and insights do you bring to the table?
  2. Know who your target audience is. Who are the clients or organizations you want to speak to? What are their needs, challenges, and pain points?
  3. Create a statement that shows exactly what you do, for what audience and how.
  4. Create a graphic that includes an on-brand picture, your titles, and your positioning statement. This should use your preferred colours and fonts.
