Get 5 Testimonials

Purpose

  • Credibility and Trust: Testimonials from satisfied clients, event organizers, audience members, and industry peers enhance your credibility. They validate your expertise, effectiveness, and impact.
  • Social Proof: Positive testimonials serve as social proof of your capabilities and results, leading to increased confidence and willingness to book you.
  • Relationship Building: Requesting testimonials strengthens your relationships with clients and partners, showing appreciation for their support and trust.
  • Word-of-Mouth Marketing: Satisfied clients recommending you to their networks leads to increased visibility, bookings, and opportunities.

Process

  1. Create a list of people to reach out to. Think about everyone you have touched through work, volunteering, or friendship. Whose endorsement would you most appreciate and value?
  2. Craft an email requesting the testimonial. Share why you value their opinion and how much it would mean to you.
  3. Offer options for sharing: email, LinkedIn recommendation, social media post, or tagging you in their own post.
  4. Make it easy by providing templates, examples, or prompts as a guide. Offer to assist with drafting or editing.
  5. Thank each person and share how the testimonial made you feel.
